Fresh from hosting Fair Day Brisbane’s very own Paul Wheeler (He’s actually from Essex) will be hosting Mr Qld Bear 2019. He says it’s because he likes to give back to the community. We think he’s just preparing for that inevitable transition from Twink to Bear. You can be the judge !!
djmikeyb has been performing for well over 35 years to crowds in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Auckland, USA and the UK at events like Bearracuda, Honey, Chunky and numerous Underbear parties along with all of the Australian bear clubs around Australia.

DJ Les Smith is one of Brisbane’s original gay DJs having played at all the major LGBTQI clubs and events in Brisbane since 1982 and at events and clubs up and down the East Coast of Australia.
Expect to hear vocal and progressive house and re-imagined anthems from the past at the 2019 NEX Underbear party.

deejaychip emerged into the DJ scene after several years of partying in the early ’90s, with a debut performance at a lesbian warehouse party. From the outset, he was aware of the steep learning gradient in the art of programming club music. It took a few short years, but a definite style was being melded and an extensive career has ensued. Fast-forward to the present and Chip holds audiences on the floor with throbbing bases lines, fresh vocals and seamless mixing, blending styles based on house. Chip has played countless gigs throughout Australasia and held many resident spots in the past 20+ years. Current/recent standouts include Tropical Fruits, Glitterbox, Princess & Pornstars, Halloween Whores, I Remember House, Universal, IVY, ARQ, Homesexual (HOME), Phoenix Rising, Midnight Shift, Daywash @ Chinese laundry, LIVE, & the Colombian Hotel. Explosive past sets include Mardi Gras, Inquisition & Sleaze Ball, Queer Nation, Manacle.
Sunday 20 October – So Long, Farewell – Closing Party

DJ Marty likes nothing more than seeing a sleuth of smiling bears on the dancefloor! Since last year he’s has played at Trop Fruits and Bear events and is delighted to be back at NEX spinning funky house.
No Northern Exposure farewell would be the same without Daryl Murphy. Guaranteed to entertain the bears. If you haven’t had the pleasure of being entertained by Dary and his band you are in for a treat I can assure you.
