The warmer months are nearly over, and before we go into hibernation we are heading north to Caloundra for a day at the beach on Sunday 29th March. The plan is for us to secure a good spot at Golden Beach Esplanade. We can’t actually reserve an area, so we will be sending a few bears to stake our claim on a spot early in the morning. The map (see link on registration page) shows where we plan to be, near the intersection of Esplanade and McLean St. If we can’t get this particular spot, we will look for another one close by. We will do our best to communicate any change of location on the day via the Facebook event page.
We will kick off from about 11am and will be providing a free BBQ lunch around midday. We will also provide some cold drinks. Make sure you bring a water bottle, sunscreen, hat, towel and a beach chair or picnic blanket if you want to.
We hope to see as many of you there as possible. So that we know how many hungry bears to cater for, please let us know if you’re coming by registering your attendance on the Facebook event page or on our website by clicking here.
